Results & Outcomes
2025/26 Results
This year, our learners have demonstrated determination and perseverance, securing
qualifications and developing the skills that will support their next steps, whether in further education, employment or greater independence.
Success Across Academic and Vocational Pathways
This year we have recorded strong achievements across a broad range of subjects. Highlights include an exceptional 100% pass rate in English Language (iGCSE), with many learners securing strong passes. Learners also achieved a 100% pass rate across the core science, mathematics and physical education courses in which they were entered. Functional Skills outcomes were similarly robust, demonstrating learners’ mastery of vital literacy and numeracy skills for their futures.
Importantly, our Wilds Lodge learners achieved far beyond traditional classroom subjects. Throughout their time here, we have proudly supported our learners in securing highly practical and vocational qualifications, ranging from Level 2 Mechanics and Arts Awards to ASDAN accreditations, highlighting the tailored, learner-centric approach of their curriculum.
Looking Ahead: Exciting Next Steps for our Leavers
For many Year 11 and Post-16 leavers, this year’s achievements mark the beginning of an exciting next chapter. Driven by their new qualifications and the dedicated support of pastoral and transition teams, leavers are stepping confidently into diverse and ambitious futures:
- Learners are moving on to specialised programmes at regional colleges, including Level 2 Engineering at Cambridge Regional College, Public Services at
Peterborough College, and Animal Care courses. - Several learners have secured distinctive placements, including an Arsenal FC Coaching Programme and a Supported Internship with Project SEARCH.
- Others are transitioning into highly supported independent living and employment pathways, supported closely by the school and local networks.
Continuing the Journey
While it is time for us to bid a fond farewell to many leavers, we are equally thrilled to welcome back a large cohort of returning learners into our Post-16 provision. These learners are embarking on personalised, long-term plans that blend continued academic learning with work-based provision. Whether it is taking a professional bakery course alongside paid industry work, or continuing to develop life skills at the dedicated Post-16 facilities, these returning learners are laying the foundations for lifelong success.
Paul Clair, our Head of Education, said: “These results, and the vibrant range of Post-16 destinations our learners have secured, are a testament to the hard work of our young people and the unwavering support of their families and our staff. We are incredibly proud of their resilience and the bright futures they are building.”
As a community, we want to congratulate all learners on their exceptional achievements, and to take a moment to recognise that every success is a reflection not only of the results themselves, but of each individual’s unique starting point, journey and the progress they have made along the way.
“We had such a high turnout on results morning, which is especially notable as many of our young people find situations like this very daunting. This reflects not just their efforts in recent examinations, but also their progress and resilience throughout their time at Wilds Lodge, alongside the dedication and expertise of our staff. The wide range of subjects and vocational opportunities we offer has allowed every learner to shine in their own way, and we are incredibly proud of all they have achieved.”
